Hyperloop

Driving 8 hours from San Diego to San Francisco is really exhausting to a lot of people.  Well a Hyperloop can change that.  It can get there in only 45 minutes.  A Hyperloop runs through a tube carrying cargo and people at very high speeds.  In this essay I will talk about what a Hyperloop is, how it works, and the benefits.

The Hyperloop was created by Elon Musk during the year 2013.   A Hyperloop is used to transport a lot of people and cargo in a short amount of time.  This high speed train is faster than most transportation systems with top speeds of 700 MPH.  Once the Hyperloop is built it will be thought that it will be cheaper than other sources of transportation.

This ultra fast transportation system runs through a network of tubes.  It works by gliding by magnetic levitation.  These magnets are on the Hyperloop and the tube with opposite poles.  Since it doesn’t touch the track, friction won’t slow down this train.  The tubes also have vacuum pumps to suck out most of the air inside to reduce the air resistance.  The combination of no air resistance and no friction allows it to travel super fast.

There are many benefits a Hyperloop can provide.  First, this transportation system is super fast. It is faster than most transportation systems today.  For example, a car ride from New York to Washington D.C. takes about five hours but a Hyperloop will take only 29 minutes.  Another benefit is that it does not pollute the air because it uses electricity.  It also helps the housing shortage because it allows people to live far away and they will be able to get to work on time with a Hyperloop.

This future technology will ensure safety while having a comfortable and sustainable way of transportation.  A Hyperloop can change human daily lives by getting to work and school on time from far away places.  It also helps our environment by cutting down on gasoline usage.  It is also a cost efficient way to travel.
